Eligibility
Admission to B.E. Programs: CET, COMED-K, and Management Quota
- Admission through CET (Common Entrance Test): The Government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) annually, typically in April. This test is open to Karnataka domicile students. Seat allotment is done online.
- Admission through COMED-K: The Consortium of Managements of Private Colleges in Karnataka conducts the COMED-K exam every year, generally in May. This test is open to both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka students. 30% of the total intake is reserved for students admitted through COMED-K.
- Admission through Management Quota: The remaining 25% of the total intake is filled through the management quota.

Placements:
Placement activities for students will commence after the third year of engineering. The placement process will be coordinated jointly by the placement officers of RV College of Engineering (RVCE) and RVITM, conducted as a unified effort at RVCE. To enhance students' employability, comprehensive preparation is provided through centralized internships, dedicated placement training, industry interaction programs, and workshops under the Research Initiative Program.
